Swindon is a town in the county of Wiltshire and lies between the cities of Bristol and Reading. Historically, the town was an important stop along the transport lines that crossed the entire region. Today, Swindon is home to various places of interest and landmarks including the Bodleian Library, which has over 153 miles of bookshelves. The Steam Railways Museum and Swindon Art Gallery are major landmarks along with places like The Museum of Computing and Swindon Robins, which is a racing circuit in the area. Transport Information

There are a number of roads in and around Swindon, which are frequented by drivers, taxis, buses and coach services. The A3102 and A346 pass through the town, as do the A420, A4259 and A419. The M4 motorway is the main motorway link for the town while Swindon railway station is one of the main stops on the Great Western Railway Main Line on the way to Gloucester. The closest international airport is Bristol Airport.
