Malvern is a suburb of Melbourne, in the Australian state of Victoria. The suburb is 8 km (5 miles) south-east of Melbourne’s city centre. Malvern is part of the city of Stonnington. The Malvern Town Hall is an Italian style Victorian building with marble and terrazzo in the foyers, and plaster ornamentation in the hall. The outside of the building features fish scale slates, elaborate lead work, and cast iron walkways.
