Rent Serviced Office Space in Birmingham’s New Arts and Media Quarter
My first experience of Birmingham’s Custard factory was its nightclub - a vast and vibrant space with a sparkling glass fronted façade, indoor swimming pool and thriving atmosphere.
The Custard Factory, Gibb Street is part of Birmingham’s, revolutionary new arts and media quarter, and home to an eclectic mix of companies, galleries, fine artists, independent shops, restaurants and Birmingham’s largest nightclub.
History
The riverside factories, which now total around 5 acres of working space, where built over 100 years ago by Sir Alfred Bird, the inventor of custard. Business was strong, until the early 1980’s when the factories became derelict and in 1990 the buildings where taken over by creative’s in Birmingham wishing to start a diverse working community.
Office Space
In more recent years, a new building, Zellig was created, which comprises of a fantastic selection of 101 offices and studios to let on flexible terms, including virtual offices. There is also on-site car parking and easy access for disabled persons.
Location
Birmingham Moor Street, Birmingham New Street and Bordesley Railway Stations are all within walking distance from the Custard Factory and provide excellent transport links to London and other major UK towns and cities. Birmingham City FC, Highgate Park and South Birmingham College are also close by and Birmingham Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car.
