Office Provider Regus Opens New Business Lounge on M4
Office provider Regus yesterday opened a new business lounge at a service on the M4 - the first of its kind.
Providing a unique opportunity for agile workers, the Regus Express hub is located at the Leigh Delamere services on the westbound carriageway between Swindon and Bristol.
The lounge is the first to open after the workspace provider struck a deal with Moto, the UKs largest provider of motorway services.
Featuring many of the amenities Regus encorporates into its dedicated business centres, the Express hub offers private workstations called 'ThinkPods', wifi, and meeting rooms.
John Spencer, CEO of Regus in the UK, said: "The last decade has seen a revolution in workplace attitudes and habits, creating millions of mobile and nomadic workers who aren't confined to the traditional office anymore.
"Providing them with business services on the go, from wifi to workstations to printing facilities, is an exciting and largely untapped opportunity for transport operators."
Regus already operates executive lounges across major UK airports, providing space for international travellers. Like all Regus lounges, the Express hub can be accessed with a Businessworld card, at a cost of £35 per month.
Earlier this year, the company opened a trial run of 70 Express hubs located within Shell service stations around Berlin, Germany.
